A Doors Open Day was held in Helensburgh over the September 23-25 weekend.

Events included Guided Walks run by the Heritage Trust.

The programme was . . .

Friday 22nd September – launch at 1000 in the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre (originally Clyde Street School) followed by talk on the History of Helensburgh by Stewart Noble.

Saturday 23rd September

1000 – town centre walk with Richard Trail – meet outside the Victoria Halls.
1000 – walk from the Hill House to the town centre with John Urquhart – meet outside the gates of the Hill House.
1000 and 1100 – guided tour of the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre with Stewart Noble – please book on https://abcdoorsopenday.eventbrite.co.uk
1400 – town centre walk with Richard Trail – meet outside the Victoria Halls.
1400 – walk from the Hill House to the town centre with Stewart Noble – meet outside the gates of the Hill House.

Sunday 24th September

First 2018 Open Meeting

Mike-Thornley-wThe first 2018 Open Meeting will be held at Helensburgh Civic Centre at 7.30pm on Wednesday January 31. Mike Thornley will talk about the Glenarn garden at Rhu. Anyone interested most welcome.
