The inventor’s son, Heritage Trust president Professor Malcolm Baird, said: “My impression is that it is strictly for children, and it good that Baird's ideas are being planted in the young minds. I am encouraged that this book is reaching a US kids audience.

“It has received a good review from the US Schools Library Association.”

The review by Katherine Rao comments: “Curious young creators will adore this wonderful nonfiction book — a worthy purchase for most libraries.

“The writing flows easily, keeping the reading level directed at young readers but still providing enough information to share an exciting story. Baird's resilience will appeal to children learning about the value of perseverance.”
